8.00 Lost Dawn
A savage blues two piece Lost Dawn are made up of Stanley-Duke and Ben Woods. Citing influences such as The Black Keys, The Kills and White Stripes, they add their own unique tinge to things with a blend of hip-hop beats, garage blues and creamy soul to create something truly thrilling.
9.00 The Mighty Pigshed
From right here in West Penwith, The Mighty Pigshed are a six piece Afro-Latin-Funk band inspired by the rhythms and melodies of Afrobeat, Township music, Funk, Jazz and Latin. Led by two Saxophonists and backed by a tight percussive rhythm section. Upbeat music sure to get you grooving.

10.30 Marble Fairy
Take two girls, two guys, add a bucketful of glitter, a generous helping of 80s influenced songwriting, and give it a uniquely filthy modern twist. The result is described by BBC Introducing as “an electro pop group who’s upbeat and entertaining tracks put movement into any static toes”
The Cornish four-piece have re-located to London, but Lafrowda are delighted to bring them back for a feast of glam, glitter and glo-sticks!!

This 4-piece bluegrass band have cut their teeth busking on their hometown streets of Penzance – which is where we found them! With perfect harmonies and skilled musicianship, they aim to “put a smile on your face, get your toes a tappin’ and make you feel good!”

This local band will bring years of experience to the stage to play their original material. You may recognize them!!

7.00 Fire Island Pines
Despite having released an EP, this Wadebridge 6-piece indie pop band are new to the live circuit, but have quickly made an impact with their “jaunty, uplifting sonic tapestry punctuated by shimmering trumpet lines and an unholy tri-guitar wall-of-jangle.” Combined with often bleak lyrics, the result is a distinctive and delightfully bittersweet package.
8.00 A Jon English Band
A familiar face from the streets of Penzance, Jon English is another musician who has learned his craft busking around the town. Drawing on a pool of local musicians to form an ever-changing band, Jon will be bringing his unique, often poetic songs to the Lafrowda stage.
9.00 ‘Blues Boy Dan’
An honorary St Juster, Dan Owen has been coming here on holiday for the last few years, and has become a regular attraction at open mic night in the Star. We are delighted to have Dan coming especially for Lafrowda. If you’ve not come across him before, prepare to be amazed by a blues guitar and vocal performance that truly belies his years.

Formed from the ashes of the Cramp in the Seventies, Penzance’ favourite Punksters continue to defy all odds to continue their unique brand of Punk Rock. Please note that this will be a fully amplified performance, not unplugged as previously advertised.
