Lafrowda Day in St. Just on Saturday 19th July is rapidly approaching and it promises to be bigger and better than ever with this year’s theme “IT’S PLAYTIME”. New for this year’s festival is an invitation to the public to submit photographs to provide a photographic portrait of the day which will form an exhibition at a venue in St. Just later in the year.

To catch the flavour of the whole day there are nine categories:-

1. Preparations for processions.
2. Setting up for the day, including the stalls
3. The Processions
4. The bands in both Market and Bank Square
5. The street artistes and performers
6. The various workshops
7. People and crowds
8. Quirky shots
9. The clear-up

You are invited to submit up to ten photographs in each category, the best entries winning a framed copy of their entry. All entries should be submitted to info@lafrowda-festival.co.uk by 31st August 2008
