Community Processional Sculpture Workshops

Due to the success of these workshops last year we are again offering you the opportunity to join this the fun. Help make a large trolley sculpture or something smaller yourself all under the expert guidance of Graham + Liz. All materials and instruction free. Open to everyone over 13 yrs. Wear old clothes.

Come along to St Just Recreation Centre on Saturday 1st July 12 - 6pm or Sunday July 2nd 11am - 2pm. (other workshop dates and times will be given to you then).

Street Banner Workshop

Time to make some new street banners to decorate St Just for the big Lafrowda weekend. Over 13’s and adults only - some sewing knowledge useful. Bring ideas, scissors, a sewing machine (not essential) and any scraps of material you can donate. St Just Recreation Centre - Sunday July 2nd 2 - 6pm

Banner Workshop

Make a banner for the midday (children’s procession) on Lafrowda Day - wear old clothes, bring a pair of scissors and a pencil, and come along to St Just Recreation centre on Tuesday 4th July 4 -7pm.

Anyone under 8yrs MUST be accompanied by an adult.

Donations toward material costs welcome. Booking essential.

Community Lantern Workshop

Make a lantern for the 10 o’clock procession on Lafrowda Day. Come along to the Recreation Centre on Friday July 7th from 4 -7pm (also Sat or Sunday 10 - 12am). Wear old clothes.

Children under 8yrs MUST be accompanied by an adult. Donations toward material costs welcome. Booking essential.

Community Samba Workshops

Join Penzamba for Lafrowda Day and play in the processions – you can take part in two free workshops. Saturday 1^st July 11am -1pm at Humphry Davy school, Pz (community rooms on right) and/or Saturday 8^th July 11am - 1pm at St Just Recreation Centre.
