| LAFROWDA DAY 21st July | ||
| 10.30am-4.00pm St Just and Pendeen Old Cornwall Society, in conjunction with the Mining Research Group, has for some years, mounted an exhibition which has become an integral part of the Lafrowda Day activities. This exhibition will be opened at 10.30am by Mr Ron Opie, President of the Federation of Old Cornwall Societies, who will also award prizes to local schoolchildren who have entered this year’s competition, based on the theme of “Elements”. The exhibition also follows this theme, namely, ‘Fire, Water, Air and Earth’. There is no charge for admission to the exhibition and teas and cake will be served throughout the day. |
