The Story of Lafrowda

1996 - the first St Just Music Festival
The idea of a community arts celebration in St Just was born
1997 - the second Music Festival and the first Lafrowda Day
Young people were encouraged to get involved The Youth Club and the schools made costumes, banners and lanterns,
the Sneakers and Sparky entertained the crowds,
and we brought out Graham Jobbins’ Golowan image for our first procession
